Q: What is glooqConnect?

A: glooqConnect is a revolutionary service which transforms all your daily e-mail traffic into a marketing platform. No need to install anything on your PC / Server. Just reroute your e-mails through us and manage your campaigns affectively.

 

Q: How do I install it?

A: Just change your SMTP server name, enter username and password, and you are ready to go. By using glooqConnect, each email you send out is diverted through our glooqConnect servers, where the banner insertion occurs.

 

Q: Is there any bandwidth overhead?

A: No, The banners weight is very light - 20/30/40 KB. For example: a standard word document is between 200-300 KB.

 

Q: Can I use glooqConnect with any email client?

A: Yes. glooqConnect supports any email client as long as you can change your SMTP (Outgoing E-mail Server) settings.

 

Q: Can I use glooqConnect for internal marketing?

A: glooqConnect is designed for external e-mail marketing. However, if you have only POP3 / IMAP4 accounts, without an internal email server, than glooqConnect service will be also used a platform for internal marketing since all internal and external e-mails will be rerouted through the glooqConnect server.

 

Q: What kind of image formats are supported?

A: glooqConnect supports .GIF or .JPG formats. There are many formats like BMP, TIFF, PNG, Flash and others.  Most of them are blocked by Anti Spam filters or are too heavy.

 

Q: How can I restrict specific users or groups from sending or receiving the banners?

A: glooqConnect has the Filter function which allows excluding or including specific users/groups.

 

Q: Is there support for PDA's such as Blackberry or Mio?

A: Yes. Any mobile device that supports HTML will display the published content. Since Blackberry treats HTML content as an attachment or a link - you can use the Textual-Add feature, and even determine the position inside the e-mail.
