Q: What
is the glooqPro software?
A:
glooqPro is a revolutionary software which
transforms all your daily e-mail traffic into a
marketing platform.
Q: How
do I install it?
A:
glooq has several implementation scenarios which
are suitable for every client from a single user
through small companies to large enterprises. Most
of glooq's clients use an E-mail server, so glooqPro
is either installed on the E-mail server or on a
dedicated pc/server.
Q: Is
there any load on the e-mail Server ?
A:
No there isn't. The software is very light. The
installation files are 50 MB in total. glooqPro's
service consumes no more than 30MB of RAM.
Q: Is
there any firewall issues?
A:
There is no impact on Firewall since the banner is
embedded in the e-mail and the Firewall treats it
like a standard e-mail.
Q: Is
there any bandwidth overhead?
A:
No, The banners weight is very light - 20/30/40
KB. For example: a standard word document is between
200-300 KB.
Q: Can I
install glooqPro on any server?
A:
Yes. glooqPro is working on a Microsoft platform,
you can install it on a windows server / pc and
divert all the e-mail traffic from any e-mail Server
to the dedicated server / pc. In small
organizations, you may use one of your existing PC's
for this purpose.
Q: Is
there External SMTP engine that comes with the
software?
A:
No, there is no need for external SMTP engine. Every
windows XP / 2000 /2003 platform supports IIS
(Internet Information Services), and SMTP engine
built in.
Q: Are
there any logs?
A:
Yes. glooqPro is fully logged. Both within the Event
Viewer and glooqPro's unique log.
Q: Can I
use glooqPro for internal marketing?
A:
Yes. If you have Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007, you
can install glooqPro and connect it to the
Information store. That way you can create marketing
campaign for Internal usage.
Q: What
kind of image formats are supported?
A:
glooqPro supports .GIF or .JPG
formats. There are many formats like BMP, TIFF, PNG
and others. Most of them are blocked by Anti Spam
filters or are too heavy. Same goes for FLASH.
Q: How
can I restrict specific users or groups from sending
or receiving the banners?
A:
glooqPro has the Filter function which allows
excluding or including specific users/groups.
Q: Is
there support for PDA's such as Blackberry or Mio?
A:
Yes. Any mobile device that supports HTML will
display the published content. Since Blackberry
treats HTML content as an attachment or a link - you
can use the Textual-Add feature, and even determine
the position inside the e-mail.
